New York

Patricia Woolridge is the Program Director of the Brooklyn Community Recovery Center. Patricia holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Metropolitan College of New York. Before working at Phoenix House, Patricia was a case manager that assisted families with medically fragile children. Her first position at Phoenix House in 1992 was as junior counselor in an adolescent outpatient program.  Over the course of twenty-five years, Patricia has held various positions in outreach, admissions, and clinical treatment.

Patricia has a passion for helping people take their negative experiences and turning them into an opportunity to grow. She is inspired by the individuals she’s worked with and is constantly impressed by their strength, determination, and talents. For Patricia, the most touching part is when a former client returns after treatment to say thank you.

Patricia believes that at Phoenix House, we help individuals and their families to see the glass as half full and not half empty. She strives to help clients maintain their optimism and their dreams.
