Meredith Mullens Meurer
Clinical SupervisorTexas“One of my favorite things about working at Phoenix House is having the privilege of witnessing the positive change and growth that our clients experience when they fully commit to the program and begin evolving into a better version of themselves.”
Meredith Mullens Meurer, MA, LPC-Intern, LCDC, is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Liberty University, studying psychology and counseling. Prior to starting at Phoenix House, Meredith worked in real estate for several years, but knew that her passion for helping others was not being fulfilled. During grad school Meredith spent time volunteering as a sexual assault and domestic violence advocate. Meredith began working as a practicum student at a private practice and then started with Phoenix House as a graduate intern in January 2013. She immediately knew that this was something she wanted to make into a career. After her internship, Meredith served as a PRN Counselor in adult and adolescent IOP and then came on board as a Residential Counselor in September 2013. Meredith now serves as the Clinical Supervisor in which she supervises all of the clinical programming in the Residential programs.
