Kristin Bonfiglio, MSW, ASWCalifornia
Program Director of Phoenix House Orange County adult treatment programs, Kristin Bonfiglio, joined Phoenix House staff as admissions Counselor in 2013. She was promoted to the position of Deputy Director in 2016 and Program Director in 2018. In this position, she oversees all clinical, administrative, financial and personnel issues of adult residential and outpatient programs serving men, women and women with children in Santa Ana, CA.
Ms. Bonfiglio holds a M.Sc. degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California (2013), a B.A. degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California, Irvine (2010), and a drug and alcohol counseling certificate from Saddleback Community College (2008).
Her experience prior to joining Phoenix House includes working with the military personnel at the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton, treating at risk and substance abusing adolescents at Orange County Bar Foundation in Santa Ana, and working as administrator of a sober living facility. Ms. Bonfiglio has been trained in many evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing, ACRA, ACC, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, group crisis intervention, domestic violence issues, and more.
