Kimberly Decoteaux is a certified addictions registered nurse with over ten years of experience in substance use and mental health disorders. After graduating with honors and obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2004, she started her career at Newport Hospital in Newport, R.I., at the Vanderbilt Inpatient Program and Surgical Services. Kim then chose to take her nursing career on a different path in a field close to her heart and began her career at Phoenix House Exeter in 2007 as a detoxification staff nurse. She was promoted to Charge Nurse in 2012 and then Director of Nursing in 2014. Kim was recently named Program Director for the Exeter Campus due to her drive and passion for improving the lives of those affected by addiction and substance use disorders. Kim is from Southern Rhode Island and takes pride that she is able to serve her local community in such a meaningful way. Kim holds current memberships with the International Nurses Society on Addictions and the Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council for RI.
