Doug Reed

Senior Vice President and Executive Director


Doug Reed joined Phoenix House in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Phoenix House Texas.

Prior to joining Phoenix House, Mr. Reed was a Director of Development at Children’s Medical Center Foundation in Dallas. In this role, he was responsible for operations management, donor research, and reporting.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Reed served as a Senior Banker in the Private Bank at J. P. Morgan and as Senior Vice President of Regional Management and Public Affairs for Fidelity Investments. For Fidelity, Mr. Reed provided government and community affairs, business development, and site leadership for management teams operating in Fidelity’s ten domestic regional centers. Mr. Reed also led a team that managed regional grants administration for Fidelity Foundation.

Mr. Reed has served on the Boards of University of Texas at Arlington College of Business, Aberg Center for Literacy, Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Texas Association of Taxpayers, and American Heart Association Dallas Affiliate. Mr. Reed has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Baylor Medical Center and Irving Hospital Authority.

Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor degree from University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas.
