In April 2017, Chinling Chen, LCSW, became the Senior Program and Campus Director for Phoenix House Lake View Terrace, overseeing residential, outpatient, wraparound and prevention services. In this leadership role, she works with Errol Small Jr. (Program Administrator), Nely Meza, LMFT, Director of Mental Health Services, Maged Botros M.D., Medical Director, and all the Lake View Terrace team members to grow our programs and better serve our community. Ms. Chen brings over fifteen years of adolescent residential and community-based clinical leadership experience and has a clear vision of all that we can offer to the youth in our community. She replaces Ms. Akilah Templeton, MPA, who has left the organization. She previously served as Division Director of Community Based Specialty Programs at Five Acres—The Boy’s and Girl’s Aid Society of Los Angeles, where she worked since 2005 in positions with increasing scope of responsibility. Her duties ranged from a therapist offering direct services to a program manager or director to overseeing residential, group home, and community-based programs. Ms. Chen holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from UCLA as well as a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from University of California, San Diego.
