Adam has a comprehensive background in social work, with specificity in the treatment of co-morbid substance use and psychiatric disorders. In addition to patient assessment, treatment planning and delivery of evidence-based individual and group therapy, Adam has provided case management and acted as an intermediary between individuals and various external agencies. Now as Program Director for our Long Island City Outpatient Center, he will guide the center I developing services that meet the needs of the Queens community.

Prior to joining Phoenix House, Adam was a Clinician in hospital-based systems. His past experience includes positions at both Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he acted as a multi-disciplinary team member, earning experience in the provision of comprehensive care for the treatment of substance use and psychiatric disorders.

Adam earned his Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Loyola University and his Masters of Social Work from Monmouth University.
