Residents of a coastal Rhode Island town have come together to raise awareness and reduce underage drinking.
“I was living on the streets and sleeping on the train. One day, I woke up and thought, ‘There’s got to be more to life than this!’ Phoenix House taught me how to change from within.”
“At Phoenix House, I finally had people who wouldn’t let me manipulate my way out of every situation. I completed treatment and I’ve never looked back.”
“If it wasn’t for Phoenix House, I’d probably be dead right now. They taught me that it’s OK to ask for help. Most importantly, I learned how to take care of myself—and that you can be sober and still have fun.”
At Phoenix House, I finally started seeing the bigger picture of treatment and recovery. The community opened my eyes up and got me to where I could settle down with myself and truly see myself as I was.
