The Rhode Island Council continues to help those struggling with alcohol and drug problems. Through its Referral Helpline and Recovery Housing Program, the Council’s goal is to give those with substance abuse problems the referrals they need to seek treatment and to aid them on their path to recovery by providing safe, supportive, and affordable housing.
The Council’s recovery housing program operates a number of sober residences throughout the State of Rhode Island. These single-family dwellings are all located in safe residential neighborhoods within walking distance of public transportation. The addition of the Rhode Island Council’s programs to Phoenix House’s wide range of substance abuse treatment services rounds out the comprehensive continuum of care Phoenix House provides, leading individuals from medical detoxification through outpatient services and residential treatment for men, women and teens, to a sober, supportive living environment, and eventually to independent, healthy lives.
If you are concerned about a loved one’s drug or alcohol use, please call Phoenix House today at 1 888 671 9392. Phoenix House is always available to help.
