Texas Students Enjoy Basketball Challenge versus Staff

Friday, October 10th, 2014

basketballStudents at Phoenix House Hill A. Feinberg Academy of Dallas recently enjoyed playing a student versus staff basketball tournament. Four on four teams participated, with staff including those from clinical and assessment teams, and even our Program Director, Jayson Pratt. The students were more than thrilled to be given the opportunity to show their strength and enjoy some competition with the staff that provides so much support throughout their treatment. Exercise and sober activities can provide joy, build self-esteem and confidence, and promote healthy lifestyles during recovery.

The title of “champion” of the day went to the staff team, so there will definitely need to be rematch in the near future.
