Phoenix House Academy of LI students enjoy a day at the park at a LI Ducks baseball game

Students of Phoenix House Academy in Long Island take a break from their treatment and classes to attend a Long Island Ducks game. Posing with the team’s mascot QuackerJack, our guys were treated to an exciting night of Atlantic League baseball from the defending champions at Bethpage Ballpark. Quality time with friends enjoying sober recreation is a welcome break from their busy schedule at our residential treatment facility in Wainscott. The hunt for foul balls in their section was ongoing, a fun time was had by all.

In addition to recreational and educational field trips, our Academy offers healthy mind and body programs including yoga, meditation, nutritional awareness, exercise, team sports, and adventure courses.
