Phoenix House’s Tessa Vining teams up with CIGNA and The Partnership at for this month’s “Listen In!” telephone seminar, “Understanding Relapse and Recovery” on March 21, 2012.

This series of monthly telephone seminars, presented by CIGNA and  The Partnership at are designed to help increase awareness, promote prevention and a better understanding of the ever-changing landscape of substance abuse. These seminars are an invaluable source of information for parents, young adults, and loved ones interested in learning about teen drug addiction—free of charge, no registration required.

On Wednesday, March 21st from 12 Noon–1:00 PM EST, the topic is “Understanding Relapse and Recovery” – discussing why relapse isn’t a “failure,” and guiding parents on how to be a positive force in their child’s recovery from drugs and alcohol. Tessa Vining, LCSW, CASAC-T, Clinical Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Outpatient program at Phoenix House will be joined by a parent of a young adult in recovery from The Partnership’s Parent Advisory Board.
