The Northern Regional CSA Symposium & Provider Expo is sponsored by the CSA Managers for seven Northern Virginia jurisdictions. It is also sponsored by NOVACO, the Northern Virginia Coalition of private provider associations—an organization that provides safe and affordable housing services to survivors of domestic abuse.
CSA, or Comprehensive Services Act for At-Risk Youth and Families, was enacted back in 1993 to provide at-risk youth and their families with mental health, juvenile justice, education, social, and physical health services. CSA works with the community and contracted providers like Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic to ensure that at-risk youth and their families receive the services they need.
At the Northern Regional CSA Symposium, Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic will be focusing on sharing the financial process of admissions to both our residential and home-based services—a process which uses both CSA funding and Medicaid in order to help at-risk youth of all backgrounds. We will also be exhibiting our services—including our two award-winning, nationally-accredited, residential substance abuse centers for adolescents. The Boys and Girls Recovery Lodges provide at-risk youth with the substance abuse and mental health services they need while encouraging family involvement and relationship-healing through weekly concerned-persons meetings. We also provide an individualized and accredited high school academic program so our 14-17 year old clients have every opportunity to get their lives back on track.
If you’re attending the symposium, we hope you’ll stop by and say hello to Angelina Harris, our Admission Director, or Marta Zappala, our Development Coordinator. They would be happy to tell you more about programs and services at Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic, and answer any questions you might have about our organization.
Every day, Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic helps at-risk youth who are suffering from addiction in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Find out more about our programs and services, or call us today at: 1 888 671 9392.
