The funds were raised by ExxonMobil employees as part of the annual ExxonMobil Employees’ Favorite Charities Campaign. The funds raised by the campaign go to support health and human services charities in the Greater Washington Community.
This contribution will be used to offset the costs of treatment for adolescents and adults in need, and will help Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic reach its goals of helping clients and their families recover from addiction and develop the skills they need to lead healthful productive lives in the long term.
“Despite these challenging economics times, our employees have once again set a new giving record,” said Judy Hubka, Community Relations Advisor for ExxonMobil Corporation. “Our employees responded to calls for support of local health and human services organizations in the Greater Washington area; supporting organizations where we live and work is a basic principal of community relations at ExxonMobil. It’s important to all our employees that we support the communities that have supported us.”
Employees and ExxonMobil Corporation contributed more than $2,843,000 to support more than 500 of different non-profit organizations. The ExxonMobil Employees Favorite Charities Campaign provided employees with the opportunity to choose a charity with 100 percent of their contribution going to the designated charity.
We are truly grateful for ExxonMobil Corporation’s support and we thank its employees for their amazing generosity.
