To better serve Brandon, Riverview, and the eastern counties of the state, on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, Phoenix Houses of Florida opened a new treatment center in Brandon, Florida, to provide outpatient, intensive outpatient and office-based detoxification services for adults and adolescents. Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a treatment service and support program used primarily to treat chemical dependency that does not rely on detoxification. IOP programs allow individuals to be able to participate in their daily affairs and encourage active participation in 12-step programs and healthy recovery activities.
Phoenix House Brandon Outpatient Center provides outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs to help families deal effectively with teens who are abusing substances. We seek to stop drug use and change the behaviors and attitudes that support it by incorporating a strong family element. The programs service teens with both substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. Psychiatric services are also available.
Phoenix House Brandon also provides outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for adult women and men in individual and group settings. Evidence-based practices are used to formulate individualized treatment protocols that meet the needs of each individual served.
While participating in a Phoenix House program, clients may require office-based detoxification services. Our physician may use Suboxone and other medications to help individuals safely manage their withdrawal symptoms and become stable enough to derive full benefit from treatment. Ongoing medical treatment with maintenance medication is also available when necessary.
Phoenix Houses of Florida programs have received the highest level of accreditation from CARF, the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, a nationally recognized standard of excellence.
Operating in partnership with Florida’s major insurance providers, Phoenix Houses of Florida also accepts all major credit cards.
