(The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) recently announced that Phoenix Houses of Florida, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its programs.  This endorsement is the second consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to Phoenix Houses of Florida.

This official accreditation represents the highest level of certification that may be awarded to an organization and demonstrates Phoenix Houses of Florida’s substantial conformance to CARF standards.  An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.  CARF reviewers commended Phoenix Houses of Florida for a number of strengths, including its strong, experienced leadership and its skilled, compassionate and mission-focused staff who deliver quality care in accordance with recognized best practices in the field.  Also cited as an example of excellence were its well-maintained, welcoming facilities.

Congratulating all Phoenix Houses of Florida employees on attaining a three-year CARF accreditation of Florida’s facilities, Regional Director Patrick B. McEneaney said, “This accreditation recognizes and commends all that you do each day to bring quality care to all of the clients we serve.  It’s a tribute to your hard work and dedication.”
