In the autumn of 2013, Phoenix House Florida advertised on television in an effort to make families aware of the acute need their teens might have for addiction treatment. The 30-second spot, produced by Tampa-based Schifino Lee Advertising + Branding, aired throughout the Hillsborough County area and portrayed teen drug and alcohol use as a ticking time bomb that parents may not notice until too late.
On Thursday, February 27, 2014, the American Advertising Federation – Tampa Bay awarded its Silver Addy Award to Schifino Lee for this creative and provocative advertisement. The ad has been seen by thousands of families and helped scores of youngsters find help for their substance abuse at Phoenix House.
We congratulate Schifino Lee on this prestigious award and on a job well done!
