Phoenix House New York’s Norwig Debye-Saxinger, Vice President of Government Affairs, Public Policy and Licensing, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies. This honor was presented at their annual Leadership Awards event held at Pfizer World Headquarters in New York City.
For over 22 years, Norwig has served Phoenix House as an esteemed expert in government affairs, policy, and planning. He is also the President of the Therapeutic Community Association of New York, a post he has held since 2008. We salute Norwig on his latest achievement, and are proud to have him on our team.
The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies, Inc. is the umbrella advocacy organization of New York’s behavioral health community, representing over 100 non-profit community-based behavioral health agencies serving more than 350,000 clients in New York City and the five boroughs. The Coalition partners with city, state, and federal elected officials and agencies for sound public policies and adequate resources on behalf of community-based behavioral health providers.
