youth services programs host networking event

Staff from the Youth Services Programs of Phoenix House New York hosted a networking breakfast at Phoenix House Jack Aron Center in Manhattan for their outreach and referral partners. Presentations about our wide array of services were discussed and an open forum Q&A session was also held for our guests.  We are dedicated to providing education and prevention services and care to vulnerable teens at risk for substance abuse and addiction.

Phoenix House’s IMPACT Program (Intervention Moves Parents and Children Together) has been helping thousands of young people for more than thirty years. Teens and young adults, ages 13 to 24, struggling with alcohol or substance misuse participate in after-school outpatient treatment programs at our Jack Aron Center on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Teens may attend treatment from one to five days a week, engaging in individual and group therapy, psycho-educational groups, and social activities. Family participation is strongly encouraged and a key factor in the success of the program.

Our Project Youth Empowerment Services (YES) program also addresses prevention/early intervention and is designed to service at-risk teens and young adults, ages 14 to 20, struggling with drug or alcohol misuse. Our programs offer young people the opportunity to participate in a variety of services and activities designed to help them live alcohol and drug-free lives. The program is located on the Brandeis High School Campus in Manhattan.
