Phoenix House New York’s Military Services Program staff and clients traveled to Washington, D.C. to visit our nation’s capital and take in the historic sights. Our group of 48 clients and staff visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, the Washington Monument, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and the International Spy Museum. It was a full day of discovery, reflection, and admiration of the architecture and history in tribute to the bravest Americans serving our nation, past and present. We are all grateful for the generosity of Phoenix House board member Sandra Pershing for her gift underwriting this educational trip; it was a special day our clients and staff will always remember.
