I CAN helps teens discover their personal strengths as the first step to recovery.

Phoenix House New England introduces a revolutionary new approach to adolescent treatment at Phoenix House Academies in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. I CAN, a state-of-the-art, strengths-based treatment framework, helps teens discover their personal strengths, imagine their best possible selves, and acquire the necessary skills to meet the future with self-confidence and optimism. I CAN helps teens rediscover better versions of themselves in the present—and build real hope for the future.

The I CAN approach is positive, highlighting achievements and personal strengths; individualized, allowing clients to progress at their own pace; and experience based, providing educational and enriching experiences. These include such activities as volunteering in farm-to-table efforts, visiting New England’s historic sites, touring nearby colleges, and enjoying an exciting whitewater rafting expedition.

Phoenix House Academies in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island provide residential treatment to adolescents ages 13 through 18, with individualized academic tutoring to help youngsters reclaim lost educational opportunities. I CAN helps teens at our Academies move ahead in a positive direction without the burden of past mistakes.

If a young person you love is struggling with drugs or alcohol, please call Phoenix House today at 1 888 671 9392.  We’re always ready to help!
