The AIM Program at our Phoenix House Long Island Academy allows students to enjoy fitness activities that we hope will instill healthy habits. AIM (Attitude Intention Motivation) enriches our students in mind, body and spirit. Our program includes the teachings of yoga, meditation, martial arts, and nutritional awareness, providing students with renewed enjoyment, self-expression, mindfulness, team building, physical fitness, a positive outlet for energy and improved mental health. Fitness, flexibility and strength help build self-esteem and confidence and are powerful tools in decreasing stress, and promoting emotional and social well-being.
