Wednesday, August 10th, 2011

Looking for fun, fit and sober educational activities to entertain your kids before they go back to school?  The students of the IMPACT Program at Phoenix House know all the hot spots in New York City, and recently explored the far reaches and splendor of the famous Empire State Building and the historic NBC Studios at Rockefeller Plaza.  The studios are the current home of Saturday Night Live, NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, Dr. Oz, Jimmy Fallon, and the former home of late night TV’s Johnny Carson and Conan O’Brien. The students discovered several historic exhibits along the way.  Museums and historical landmarks offer hours of entertainment – how are you spending your summer days?
