Phoenix House Client Discusses New Trends in Teen Drug Use

Thursday, October 4th, 2012

Jack, a 21-year-old Phoenix House client, talks with NBC New York about new trends in teen drug use. Parents should watch for missing prescription pills and watch for signs of heroin or marijuana use. But Jack also warned that teens will even get high on ordinary substances found in a kitchen cabinet, like nutmeg.

Jack, who is on the path to recovery thanks to Phoenix Houses of Long Island, told NBC New York he wanted to share his story so that he could help keep other teenagers from going down the same path.
