Phoenix House in sunny Citra, Florida hosted its annual Celebration of Recovery on Saturday, January 23. The event brought together over four hundred men, women, and children to help celebrate the successful completion of residential treatment by their loved ones. The event was themed “Super Heroes,” to recognize the graduates as strong, powerful, courageous, helpful, and determined to build a better life for themselves.
Phoenix House Adult Residential Services, located in the rolling hills of Marion County, provides inpatient treatment to adults. The Nancy C. and Raymond E. Murray Women’s Treatment Center, located on the same spacious campus, provides gender-specific services for women. In Tampa, the Derek Jeter Center at Phoenix House and Adult Outpatient Counseling Center offers outpatient treatment to teens and adults, with similar outpatient services provided for adolescents and adults in nearby Brandon.
