Phoenix House Art Workshop

Students of the Phoenix House Academy of Westchester were treated to a special art workshop conducted by Wendy Mark. Wendy is an acclaimed painter and printmaker, her exhibitions are renowned worldwide. Her prints and books are featured at numerous museums, including the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Morgan Library, and the Spenser and Berg collections at the New York Public Library. Learning the art of monotypes, our students proudly created their own designs under Wendy’s nurturing spirit and tutelage. Wendy fully engaged our teens in this workshop, encouraging their creativity and freedom, with great success and full participation! We are so fortunate to have friends like Wendy to help us teach artistic expression to our students as they advance on their roads to recovery and wellness.
