Phoenix House Academy of Westchester students and staff joined Pepsi employees for their special annual event to benefit School Arts programs in the area. A day of golf with contests and prizes for the students as well as an awards dinner was held at the Centennial Golf Club in Carmel, NY. Our students participated in putting and hole-in-one competitions, as well as rounds of golf.
For the fourth year in a row, the Phoenix House Academy of Westchester’s School Arts Program was awarded significant funding, receiving a check for over $32,000 from Pepsi execs. Our Academy’s Arts Program provides many wonderful cultural opportunities for students, this year’s trips included concerts at the New York Philharmonic, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, as well as a trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage, The Big Apple Circus, and Madame Tussauds.
We are truly grateful to Pepsi for their support and generosity, which vitally enhances our students’ educational opportunities. Thanks to everyone involved for this great day!
