Students of Phoenix House Academy in Westchester gathered to spotlight their musical talents and creativity at an entertaining talent show for their peers, staff, and families. In addition to having access to the Phoenix Rising Music Program at their residential treatment center, our students bring their natural artistry and expression to this seasonal event. Participation in the creative arts has been proven to increase self-esteem and aid the recovery process for young people struggling with substance abuse and/or co-occurring mental health problems.
