Taste of Arlington, an annual event on the streets of Ballston

Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic is grateful to have been one of the beneficiaries of profits from the Taste of Arlington, a Northern Virginia festival of food.

Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic was honored to be one of the beneficiaries of funds raised at the 25th Annual Taste of Arlington, one of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area’s premiere restaurant events. Organized by the Ballston Business Improvement District, Taste of Arlington turns the streets of Ballston (Virginia) into a festival of food and fun, where 35 restaurants are able to share their delicious cuisine with the community.

The Mid-Atlantic Region has had a long and lasting relationship with organizers of Taste of Arlington, having benefited from the profits of this event in the past. This year, we received $6,000 from ticket sales. Two other excellent local organizations, the Arlington Community Foundation and the Virginia Hospital Center, were also the beneficiaries of event sales.

Thank you to the Ballston Business Improvement District and all of those altruistic organizations nationwide who are always finding ways to assist their local nonprofit organizations. We couldn’t do it without you!
