Carl M. Kuttler, Jr., J.D., former President of St. Petersburg College, will be honored at the 2012 Phoenix Houses of Florida Triumph for Teens Award Luncheon on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park.
Dr. Kuttler’s commitment to our community clearly demonstrates why he has been chosen as the recipient of this award, which annually honors exceptional individuals whose achievements and service to society inspire young people struggling to transform their lives. As president of St. Petersburg College, Dr. Kuttler raised in excess of $150 million to help fight the war against drugs and initiated an uplink education system that is currently in use worldwide and has drawn the attention of tens of millions of viewers. In addition, he was honored by the President of Guatemala for coordinating the gift of 1,000 computers for use by law enforcement officers in the war against drugs.
Plan now to join us on May 3rd to support Triumph for Teens.
