Phoenix House New Hampshire will present the fifth annual Climb for Recovery! on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Miller State Park, 13 Miller Park Road, Peterborough, N.H. 03458. This celebration of life, health, and wellness features a group climb to the summit of Pack Monadnock Mountain and an old-fashioned barbecue with live music. Proceeds from the event support the efforts of Phoenix House New Hampshire to help individuals overcome addiction.
On-site registration will begin at 10:00 AM and remain open until 1:00. Climbers may walk or drive up to the summit, which offers stunning views of the lush New Hampshire landscape and changing foliage. Frequent sightings of hawks, eagles, falcons and other wildlife provide additional thrills.
After working up a good appetite, registered participants will be our guests for a barbecue lunch with live music by Totem To Tem. The registration fee is $20 per participant, $10 for seniors. Additional family members may participate at $10 per adult (18+) and $5 per adolescent (12+). Children under 12 are free! Additional information is available by telephone at 603 563 8107, extension 4562. To register online, click here.
