Phoenix House New York is proud to be an annual sponsor of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) 5K Walk as they celebrate their twelfth anniversary. We invite everyone to join us at this year’s walk on Saturday, May 3rd at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York. For more about this year’s NAMI Walk and to register, click here.
NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health problems. Phoenix House is proud to partner with our friends to support this worthy cause, raise awareness, and help overcome the stigma of mental illness. Our staff, clients, and friends enjoy participating in the event, as it is also a great opportunity to take in the natural beauty of Jones Beach. We hope you will come out to “stamp out the stigma,” and show your support for our partners, supporters, and clients affected by mental illness.
