Celebrities and fans will gather on the east end of Long Island next Saturday at the 67th Annual East Hampton Artists & Writers Softball Game on August 15th at Herrick Park. Phoenix House Academy on Long Island is among the beneficiaries of this star-studded east end tradition, along with the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center, The Retreat, and East End Hospice. Batting practice starts at noon; with the first pitch at 2 p.m. Admission is a suggested donation of $10 at the gate.
Come enjoy a fun afternoon of entertainment, competition, and star sightings on the field and in the bleachers. Meet the players at the Pre-Game Party the night before the game, on Friday, August 14th at LTV Studios in Wainscott, featuring food from local restaurants, silent auctions, and music. Tickets are $40 in advance here or $50 at the door the night of the event.
