Phoenix House New York's Connections program helps clients and partners sustain healthy partnerships during recovery

The Connections program gives Phoenix House New York clients the opportunity to engage their partners in counseling sessions that educate and enlighten them about addiction, treatment, and recovery. Our counselors, family therapists, and vocational managers work with families to foster understanding and compassion during this challenging time.

Connections offers services for all of our New York City clients, many of whom were on the brink of breakup or already separated when they first joined the program–but committing to the Connections process has helped them stay together and grow together. Phoenix House and Connections make our clients and their partners feel special by recognizing their efforts to maintain sobriety and heal relationships. Since this program began, our Long Island team has worked with 68 couples and more than 200 individual clients in our relationship education and family groups.

Phoenix House New York has helped thousands of men, women, and adolescents overcome substance and alcohol abuse in order to lead healthy, productive, and rewarding lives. Since 1967, we have been committed to supporting individuals and families by providing a wide range of services, from prevention, early intervention, and treatment to continuing care and recovery support.
