“The Peace Project” will be the fourth and newest in a series of original plays developed by the clients of Phoenix House and students from the conservatory program of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Members of the Phoenix House Theater project, our client actors, are currently writing and rehearsing with the Adler students for the premiere of this new set of works in December. Their weekly acting classes at their treatment facilities allow them to exercise and create themes, which they build upon for their performances. Our clients have studied the process to develop a character, reinforcing growth as an actor and their own personal growth. These are amazing classes of hope and inspiration for all participants. Their live performances are riveting and we are truly grateful for this partnership.
