Phoenix Houses of Texas 2011 Triumph for Teens Luncheon Honoring Paul M. Bass, Jr.
Wednesday, April 13th, 2011
Phoenix Houses of Texas invites you to the 2011 Triumph for Teens Luncheon on May 13 at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. We are pleased to announce that The Honorable Jeb Bush, Former Governor of Florida, will be featured as our keynote speaker. Please join us as we highlight Phoenix House’s mission and honor the contributions of a North Texas legend – Paul M. Bass, Jr.
Paul understood that children are the future of our community, and he was a relentless advocate in the fight against substance abuse. His dedication to the young people of Texas was evident during his seven-year term as a Phoenix House Executive Board member; without Paul’s help, Phoenix House of Dallas would not be the successful organization that it is today. We are proud to honor Paul at this event, and delighted to recognize Annette and Harold Simmons for their generous gift of $250,000 in Paul’s honor.
Founded in 1967, Phoenix House is a non-profit organization that operates a national network of residential and outpatient treatment centers. Our organization has been operating in Texas since 1995, providing Residential and Outpatient care to 15,000 individuals within the state each year. An additional 90,000 children have received Prevention and Intervention Education through Phoenix House’s programs.
We hope you will join us on May 13 as we honor our dear friend, Paul M. Bass, Jr. for his support and leadership. This inspiring event will bring our community together and advance Phoenix House’s mission – to serve individuals, families, and communities affected by substance abuse and dependency.
