Adolescent Residential Center (ARC)
Our nationally-accredited, residential center helps teens begin their recovery from addiction. Our programs serve as a safe and secure home away from home.
At the Adolescent Residential Center, we use a cognitive-behavioral, strengths based approach to help teenagers understand the consequences of their alcohol, marijuana, or other drug use, develop their own recovery resources, and use those tools in their daily lives. An online school is offered to help them stay on track while receiving treatment. Family involvement is also strongly encouraged to facilitate the healing of relationships. Our addiction counselors, as well as our medical and psychiatric staff, address a wide range of substance use disorder and mental health issues, and provide medication and withdrawal management as needed.
The award-winning Girl’s Recovery program treats girls ages 13-18, while the Boy’s Recovery program treats teen boys ages 14-17. These gender-specific programs are designed so that the girls and boys remain is separate parts of the building for lodging and treatment, mitigating distractions to their care. Both programs have access to a beautiful common area with two lounge sections, a meditation space, a library, and an eating space. Additionally, the computer lab hosts daily school activities, and a separate group room provides a warm space for healing and healthy progress.
With a strong commitment to making addiction treatment accessible and affordable, Phoenix House is in network with most major insurances.
