Located on a peaceful rural campus in southern Rhode Island, Exeter Ottmar Residential Program provides gender-specific drug and alcohol addiction treatment for women in a physically and psychologically safe environment with the goal of helping women develop trust, self-esteem, and personal responsibility.
The Ottmar Residential Program serves Rhode Island women who need residential treatment for substance use disorder, including those with co-occurring mental health issues. Length of stay is determined by individual assessment and progress toward clinical goals. We offer 30-, 90-, and 180-day treatment tracks based on eligibility requirements and third-party referral.

Recovery Support Services
Daily twelve-step meetings are offered on site. Random drug screening is required. Referrals to social services providers in the community are available as needed.
