Ocala Nancy C. and Raymond E. Murray Women’s Treatment Program
Women begin their journey to recovery in a physically and psychologically safe environment.
Named in honor of Nancy C. and Raymond E. Murray, longtime benefactors of Phoenix House Florida, the Women’s Treatment Program provides gender-specific, trauma-informed treatment for women statewide who suffer from drug or alcohol addiction and/or co-occurring behavioral health issues that may be complicated by substance use. Located on peaceful, secluded grounds on Phoenix House’s campus in Citra, Florida, the program utilizes evidence-based practices to help women develop trust, self-esteem, and personal responsibility. The program combines vital counseling, educational, and recreational activities that challenge women to understand the nature of their substance misuse and become accustomed to living without alcohol and drugs. Family involvement is encouraged, as is mother/child reunification.
