Nestled in the scenic hills of Marion County, our residential substance use disorder treatment program helps adults find the inner strength to sustain recovery.
Located in the rolling hills of Marion County, Phoenix House’s adult residential program provides gender-specific drug and alcohol addiction treatment for men and women, including treatment for co-occurring behavioral health issues. Our services include individual treatment planning, specialized group therapy, life-skills training, health education, family re-integration assistance, and services to help ensure a sustained recovery.
Designed to support a well-rounded treatment experience, our Ocala location features a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, and workout equipment. Withdrawal management services are available for both men and women, and treatment length is tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. The Murray Unit, named in honor of Nancy C. and Raymond E. Murray, long-time benefactors of Phoenix House Florida, is a separate residential program designed exclusively for women providing trauma-informed, gender-specific treatment services.

Prevention and Education Services
Phoenix House’s prevention and education services highlight the dangers of drug use, reinforce self-esteem, and educate youth and adults to make positive choices.
Assessment and Evaluation Services
In various locations, Phoenix House provides independent assessments and evaluations of substance use disorders as requested by individuals, families, schools and the Criminal Justice System.
Residential Services for Adults
Phoenix House’s residential treatment services are wide-ranging and comprehensive, allowing us to tailor each client’s treatment solutions to meet individual needs.
Adult Detoxification and Stabilization
Our adult medical and social detoxification and stabilization services first help each individual to safely detoxify and then connect them to the next level of care: either residential, sober living or outpatient services.
Clients are evaluated by a psychiatrist for evaluation and ongoing treatment, with medication if necessary.
Clients and their families receive counseling to help deal with family issues related to treatment and recovery.
Family members participate in educational seminars regarding treatment and recovery.
