Phoenix House works with numerous insurers and health plans nationwide. We address every health plan and partnership individually, giving each insurer’s unique needs attention. We look forward to many new partnerships with health plan providers in the coming years. We are uniquely prepared for healthcare reform options, having worked closely with the Federal Government to show how substance abuse providers can prepare for changes resulting from the Parity Act and healthcare reform’s Affordable Care Act and having implemented a National Electronic Health Records system in our over 120 programs across the country.
The Phoenix House system offers a wide range of comprehensive and professional services in various settings. We have flexible lengths of stay designed to meet the treatment needs of clients at various points in their substance abuse recovery from detoxification to ‘re-entry’ into the community. All programs are CARF-accredited, work on a continuum of care using evidence–based assessment, cognitive behavioral services, medications and motivational enhancement practices to promote and support recovery and an enhanced quality of life. Counselors work with each client to develop individualized treatment plans, designed to meet their specific needs. We offer specialized services for women, veterans and military service personnel, and Latino clients. Phoenix House also provides numerous prevention, screening and brief intervention (SBIRT), medical, dental, psychiatric, and vocational services.
We stand out among similar programs due to our comprehensive continuum of care, our use of evidence-based practices, our capacity to monitor effectiveness and our ability to communicate regularly and effectively to physicians, hospitals, insurers and other providers who refer clients to us.
