Melissa joined Phoenix House in 2013 as a Registered Nurse at our facility in Exeter, Rhode Island. While there she played an instrumental role in shaping our Medication Assisted Treatment program. Subsequently she was promoted to the role of Director of Acute Treatment Services (ATS) and Nursing at Phoenix House Intensive Treatment Services in Quincy, Massachusetts. Melissa has responsibility for all current programs in Quincy as well as additional programs that are developed in the future. In addition, Melissa serves as an internal consultant supporting the efforts of others within the broader Phoenix House family.
Melissa has more than 17 years of clinical, operational and management experience. Before entering the healthcare field she enjoyed success in the business world, most recently serving as the Vice President of Government Contracting at PAR Products Inc.
She is a member of the Phoenix House National Clinical Transformation Team (NCTT) and also serves on CARF’s International Standards Advisory Committee (ISAC) working to revise the standards for detoxification.
Melissa has a passion for the addiction field, a strong commitment to evidence based practices, and is highly motivated to advance the mission of Phoenix House. She has a results-oriented approach and the highest ethical and professional standards.
