Phoenix House Military Services Program hosts seminar

The Military Services Program of Phoenix House New York, in collaboration with the Brooklyn Veterans Treatment Court and Bridge Back To Life, is sponsoring a special training, “The Role of Military Culture in the Workforce.” The training will take place on Friday, October 11th from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Manhattan offices of the NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), 501 Seventh Avenue in the 8th floor conference room. Approval for credential credit is pending. Panelists and experts will discuss the various issues and barriers veterans face in returning to the civilian workforce, and the supportive role employers can play during this transition. Members of Phoenix House New York’s Military Services Program will be on hand participating and sharing their expertise on this important topic.
