Phoenix House Jack Aron Center Riverside Community Residence lend a hand at the Day of Service & Remembrance

Wednesday, September 28th, 2011

Clients of the Phoenix House Jack Aron Center Riverside Community Residence partnered with the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan’s Day of Service and Remembrance event. The JCC served as the site for their staff, members and neighbors to perform good deeds and engage in service activities to honor those lost on 9/11. Our group was dispatched to Riverside Park’s Dinosaur Playground, where clients and staff helped clear fences of weeds and plant life, as well as uprooting a few trees. Phoenix House was honored to represent at this event and help restore beauty to the park in their community.
