Staff and clients of the Phoenix House Delaware County Center were honored to host Congressman Chris Gibson for a recent visit. Congressman Gibson enjoyed a guided tour of our programs with clients and staff, discussing treatment and recovery, learning more about our extensive clinical services, and met the teachers and students of our General Education Development program.

Congressman Gibson represents the 20th Congressional District, and serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Agriculture Committee. During his twenty-four year career in the Army, he rose to the rank of Colonel, was deployed seven times, and received four Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart, among other awards. He was impressed to learn about Phoenix House’s Military Services Program at our Brentwood Campus and Jack Aron Center, in addition to the adult residential services offered at Delaware County Center. We are extremely proud to have friends like Congressman Gibson and welcome him and his staff back anytime for a return visit!
