Please join us at Phoenix House Academy of San Diego for our OPEN HOUSE on November 16th, 2012!  Located in beautiful Descanso, CA, Phoenix House Academy of San Diego offers a fully accredited residential substance abuse and mental health treatment program for adolescents.  Come join us for this opportunity to tour the grounds, meet the staff, and enjoy some refreshments.

Since 1987, the Academy has been one of the most successful programs for integrated youth and family treatment in San Diego County.  The program integrates teens into a drug-free environment and provides intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment.  We offer a range of services tailored to the unique needs of each individual, including individual and group counseling, recreation, prevention through peer counseling and outreach, intensive family services, and comprehensive continuing care.   In addition, the San Diego County Office of Education maintains a fully accredited high school on site, providing tailored education services and academic tutoring.

Our treatment model is listed in the National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP) by the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). It is also recognized as a model program by the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
