Phoenix House Florida’s Patrick McEneaney, Jack Feinberg, and Bob Jordan join in the Celebration of Recovery at our Residential Program in Citra.

While sunny skies and temperatures in the high seventies prevailed outside Phoenix House Citra Center on Saturday, December 14, inside it was a winter wonderland as alumni of the program, their families and friends, and Phoenix House staff joined in a Celebration of Recovery.

More than 35 guests joined the fourteen alumni for a day of festivities honoring their achievements. A video presentation set to Keith Urban’s song “You’re Not Alone Tonight” helped to emphasize the fact that no one there was alone on the journey to recovery, but that all are members of the Phoenix House family, with a strong and skilled network of recovery support professionals ready to help at any time.

After the presentation of awards, everyone sat down to an old fashioned “home for the holidays” feast, complete with turkey, ham, and all the appropriate trimmings. And when the celebration was over, the alums knew they had the best holiday gift of all: a new, healthy life in recovery.

Phoenix House Florida offers a wide range of services to individuals struggling with substance use and the mental health issues which frequently complicate it. The Phoenix House Residential Program at Citra provides gender-specific residential treatment to adult men and women, while the Derek Jeter Center at Phoenix House, located in Tampa, and Phoenix House Outpatient Services, located in Brandon, serve adolescents and adults whose drug or alcohol use requires a less intensive level of care. By providing evidence-based treatment in both residential and outpatient settings, Phoenix House Florida helps adults and adolescents reclaim their lives, mend broken relationships, and go on to healthier, happier lives.

If someone you love needs help with an addiction problem, please call us at 1 888 671 9392. We are ready to help at any time, night or day.
