2011 Public Service Award Luncheon

Phoenix Houses of New England hosted its eleventh annual Public Service Award Luncheon on Thursday, June 16, 2011.  Ned Handy, President of Citizens Bank, Rhode Island and Connecticut, was honored at the event for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the community.  The luncheon, which annually honors exceptional men and women whose achievements serve as an inspiration to young people struggling with substance abuse, was attended by more than 325 guests and raised more than $140,000 in support of Phoenix House’s treatment, education, and prevention programs throughout New England.
