Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic recently held a breakfast celebration, featuring Benjamin Tucker, Deputy Director of ONDCP and Sofia, an inspirational Phoenix House graduate. Over 120 guests attended this early morning event.

The Virginia General Assembly has recently recognized the tremendous work of Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic by issuing Joint Resolution No. 324, specifcally celebrating the accomplishments of the organization’s first 50 years.

We at Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic would like to recognize all of the survivors of sexual assault in our programs during April, the official, nationally-designated Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).

Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic believes that physical fitness can play an important role in the addiction recovery process, providing a more structured, healthier routine and stimulating the brain’s reward pathway.

Phoenix Houses of the Mid-Atlantic is excited to be hosting two upcoming breakfast events in May for supporters from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan community, including Mr. Benjamin Tucker (Deputy Director, ONDCP) and Mr. John Foote (former Prince William County Attorney).
