About this Facility

Located on the historic East Side of Providence, Rhode Island, Phoenix House Ottmar Center provides gender-specific substance abuse treatment for women in a physically and psychologically safe environment with a goal to help women develop trust, self-esteem, and personal responsibility.

Ottmar Center serves Rhode Island women who need residential treatment for substance abuse, including those with co-occurring mental health issues.  Length of stay is determined  by individual assessment and progress toward clinical goals.  We offer 30-, 90-, and 180-day treatment tracks based on eligibility requirements and third-party referral.

    Assessment and Evaluation Services

    In various locations, Phoenix House provides independent assessments and evaluations of substance use disorders as requested by individuals, families, schools and the Criminal Justice System. See more details

    Adult Residential Services

    Phoenix House’s residential treatment services are wide-ranging and comprehensive, allowing us to tailor each client’s treatment solutions to meet individual needs. Lengths of stay are flexible and programs are designed to meet the treatment needs of clients at various points in their recovery. See more details

Recovery Support Services

Daily twelve-step meetings are offered on site.

Random drug screening is required. 

Referrals to social services providers in the community are available as needed.
